Rafting the Kaweah
River
Bill Pooley's Kaweah River Page: A must for anyone interested in white water
rafting or kayaking on the Kaweah River. Bill has a new live web cam that
updates a picture of the river every 1/2 hour. He also has lots of charts and
info on the river flow. Great site.
Lake Kaweah Recreation
Lake Kaweah: As the snow melts and the
underground springs run, Lake Kaweah gets full in mid May . In early
July the water gets warmer, but the lake level begins to drop as water is let out
for irrigation in the valley.
The Wood 'n Horse
Christy has hourly trail rides available . She will take you out for a ride
through the beautiful oak studded hills and along the Kaweah River. She can
accommodate up to 4 riders at a time. Riders must be 12 and above unless they
are an accomplished rider.

High Sierra
Jazz Band
Our world renowned local jazz band;
the host the annual three Rivers Jazz festival each April. If you
are lucky they might be playing during your visit at a local venue.
