Lake Kaweah Recreation  Lake Kaweah:  As the snow melts and the underground springs run,  Lake Kaweah gets full in mid May .  In early July  the water gets warmer,  but the lake level begins to drop as water is let out for irrigation in the valley.

The Wood 'n Horse   Christy has hourly trail rides available .  She will take you out for a ride through the beautiful oak studded hills and along the Kaweah River.  She can accommodate up to 4 riders at a time.  Riders must be 12 and above unless they are an accomplished rider.  Please call for a reservation and pricing.

Once you get here, we have a book in the room that gives recommendations for hikes, maps, dining, and sightseeing experiences in Three Rivers.  There are also several hardbound books on Sequoia National Park and you can do your research here.
